Community service was instilled in Libby at a very young age by her mother. She firmly believes in creating time and space to serve others and make the world a better place. She has been honored to serve on various non-profit committees and the Board of Trustees of some amazing organizations such as Ballroom Marfa, Blue Star Contemporary Art Museum, Family Violence Prevention Services, Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas, The San Antonio Public Library Foundation, and The Southwest School of Art, among others.

Most recently, she was appointed by Mayor Mattie Parker and the City Council of Fort Worth to serve as an Art Commissioner for Fort Worth Public Art.
